Chris Brown is the vice president of finance and treasurer of The Carter Center. He is a certified public accountant and has worked at the Center since 1994. His responsibilities include serving as the organization's chief financial officer as well as managing information technology, risk management, and facilities and grounds. Prior to coming to the Center, Mr. Brown worked at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he focused primarily on the nonprofit field. Mr. Brown holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
