The Human Resources team delivers programs and services for staff who are mission-driven professionals committed to making an impact to advancing peace and health worldwide. The Human Resources intern(s) will gain valuable knowledge about various human resources operational and strategic functions for a global nonprofit . Candidates should have a desire to advance their experience in human resources management or organizational development.
• Coordinate & implement outreach and inclusion initiatives for staff engagements, communications, and events
• Research providers to expand learning & professional development opportunities for staff
• Assist with creation and maintenance of compliance-related process documents and/or job aids
• Assist in project to update and maintain the position description database and organizational charts
• Support the Human Resources team by assisting with recruitment activities, including but not limited to posting positions, scheduling interviews, etc.
• Research, analysis & reporting of Human Resources analytics. Identify trends and research recommendations.
• Ability to use sound judgment and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Degree in a Business Management or related field, preferably Human Resources management
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Positive attitude, strong organization skills, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments
