When Alcohol Becomes Troublesome

For some women, older age is a happy, fulfilling period-for others, it's a lonely experience. The loss of a spouse or friends may leave women feeling isolated and depressed. Some women may try to medicate depression or isolation with an accessible and inexpensive drug: alcohol.
