Atlanta NBC affiliate WXIA-TV aired a special 30-minute report on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 p.m. on the Carter Center's work to prevent blinding trachoma in Ethiopia.
WXIA Anchor Brenda Wood traveled with The Carter Center to Amhara Region, Ethiopia, to see firsthand this pioneering work being done in one of the world's most trachoma-endemic areas, where interventions by the Center and its partners are ending disability from this devastating disease.
