Nazi Camp Survivors Deliver Their Take on Modern Threats
Survivors of the Nazi concentration camps are still living, and recently commentator Peter Klein interviewed several.
When Amnesty International called the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, "a gulag of our time," Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and President Bush both said that the term "gulag" was inappropriate. Commentator Peter Klein has been researching some family history about Soviet gulags and he says that Amnesty did miss their mark.
Commentator Peter Klein is working on a book about his family's involvement in the Hungarian revolution. He says that in the beginning, the revolutionaries were called insurgents. Then - as now with the Iraqi insurgency - the word "insurgent" can become a political term.
