This year marks the fifth year that an anonymous donor represented by Dietel Partners has played a key role in supporting the Carter Center's "Strengthening the Rule of Law and Combating Impunity" project. Currently, The Carter Center is in the second year of a two-year grant from this donor. The grant has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the Carter Center's Access to Justice Project.
Dietel Partners is a family-to-family philanthropic advisory firm that identifies organizations and projects that match the philanthropic objectives of their clients. Since 2010, this anonymous donor has provided significant assistance that allows The Carter Center to help deliver justice in rural Liberia.
During the past two years, The Carter Center has been able to collaborate with Liberia's Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs to support dispute resolution capacity building with customary leaders, women, and youth; to improve justice for marginalized rural citizens through civic education and legal service delivery; and to link rural concerns to the national policy agenda through dialogue and technical support. The anonymous donor's grant also significantly helped The Carter Center respond to the outbreak of Ebola.
The Carter Center appreciates the opportunity to connect with passionate donors who support access to justice. We thank the anonymous donor for investing in the Carter Center's project and for having a longstanding interest and support for the people of Liberia.
